The Committee
This afternoon Margaret and I had a meeting with Dr Sharma and the full team of therapists. The consensus was that Margaret is doing really well and everyone is impressed by her progress.
Dr. Sharma was impressed by the progression in her speech and general mobility.
Treatment shall continue at the same pace with a look to Margaret coming home in about 3 weeks. !!!!!!
The therapist will arrange a home visit to assess what equipment may be required around the house, such as an extra handrail for the stairs. Once this is done then Margaret can have 'Trial Visits' with overnight stays.
Margaret is determined to be out in the 3 weeks, I doubt we could stop her now.
Watch this space.
For those of you who have been worried about me, well, I am having a night off on Tuesday to recharge. Nicola and Christopher will visit and Margaret can phone me at home.
The telephone number for the 6th floor is 0207 483 5036 and ask for room 660. Check the rota but generally between 1pm and 2pm is best or evenings. I will get Margaret to phone mum.

John, enjoy your night in!!! You really do deserve some 'me time'. They'll be no stopping Margaret aiming towards getting home in 3 weeks time now!!!
